I have a diesel Maxum and one of the Ignition switches does not return automatically as it should.

Any one know where to source a new one? Seems to have 3 connectors on the back and it does have a preheat position.

Good news.

Your engine is not a Maxum after all I know. Most likely some Mercruiser or Volvo and then instruments (and switch) often come with the engine and wiring loom.

Cummins engines. standard switch I believe.3 prong makes it a standard petrol switch and I believe the heater light comes on for a few seconds automatically if it needs it, when the ignition turns on.I need to take it out and make sure, but they are on ebay for £12.Its been like it for a year and am fed up with being very careful. If id known they are on ebay , it would have been sorted a year ago.
