What modifications have you done to enhance your liveaboard existence or to generally make life easier etc. etc.?
What I'd really like is a small workshop: wondering seriously about converting the pilot-berth area into a bench and tool storage. I've seen this done very nicely on a 346.

Yes we have that modification and the starter battery lives there. I probably want to squeeze another battery in as the amp/ battery ratio could just about take it. Assuming we do indulge in long terming aboard, I do like the look of some of the fuel cells around but they are pricey...; A water maker would be nice but probably unnecessary if the Med is the area we would be lurking around...; looking at other posts it seems improving fridge efficiency is more of a benefit in warmer climes especially as ours is the original 1990 fitted one and takes the lion share go the power....hmmm
Apologies, may have got the wrong boat - I saw so many in a short space of time while I was looking to buy.I have a Moody 346 but cannot imagine what is meant by "Pilot berth" area to build a work bench. Certainly not in the saloon. Is it referring to the small seat in the aft-cabin I wonder.
