The Contessa 32 still has to be one of the prettiest boats on the water. What a fabulous shot. 10 of 10! It could have been taken in Chichester Harbour, but suspect it is not.

I just wish we had some shots of Galadriel to show, only got shots of the various stages of epoxy treatment and the application of Coppercote!

Why, thank you! I must admit my heart skips away every time I row away and back again /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The River Crouch guess wasn't too far off - it's the Walton Backwaters. One or two of the sunken barges on Horsey Island can just about be made out in the distance, maybe /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That is the bow of Leopard of London - I posted a link to their picture gallery 'cos I didn't have time to put any or our own on a website (which I haven't got!)

I was fortunate enough to spend a day on Leopard last year on a jolly paid by somebody else. SHe is 98ft, sails 2 knots faster than the wind speed up to 12 knots, and holds the monohull record in the Round the Island Race (about 4 hours!)

She is owned by Mike Slade from London, and manned by a full time crew - oh how the other half live !

...oops, sorry. That's my brother's /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif.
Here we are. And I say 'snap' to AeolusIV. This is Kyra before I bought her and one of only two Centurions that I know of with original teak deck.

And here am I, looking a little bemused by life 'n'all.
