Icom DS100 DSC controller

Hi

Does anyboby know if an Icom DS 100 DSC controller can have its MMSI erased and a new one entered?
Can it be done by the user or will it have to be sent back to Icom for a reset?

You'll have to send it to Icom or an Icom dealer for re-programming.

Some other marine radios allow to reset the MMSI with a specific button setup.
But for the DS 100 controller you need a ICOM CS 503 cloning software and a interface cable to change the MMSI.
