Does anyone know if it is possible to attach photos from an iPhad or iFone when making a post on the forum?

I have tried all sorts of ways and still and still to no avail....

I have never heard on an iphad or an ifone and clearly you haven't got one. If you did you would have had your spelling corrected.

In case you ever buy an iphone or an ipad I can tell you that the easiest way is to upload to Dropbox or flickr and then post a hyperlink to the public link.

As this is my first post I think that you get to read it in August

Download the Photobucket app.

Click on 'upload media' and 'chose existing'

This takes you to your photo album

Select photo.

When uploaded, tap on the photo to show the links page.

Tap on the link, which copies it, then paste into your post

You need to open a free account with Photobucket or Flickr or similar, then look for their "Mobile" section. The easiest way is probably to "share" your photo by email to your Photobucket/Flickr/etc account, then you can paste a link from it to your post here.

Many thanks for that.. i dont have a Flikr or photobucket app so i diddn't think of using that route.

Oh excellent,could be going for an eponymous variation.

Having the app as opposed to e mailing cuts out a couple of stages and allows direct copy/paste.

What would make a real difference is the ability to stream (Bluetooth/wifi) from camera to iPad without having to mess about with HD cards or USB adaptors.

Oh yeah, realizing that Apple doesn't allow access to the file system.

Umm, maybe if ybw get round to supporting Tapatalk things will be better for mobile users.

uploated a test photograph to an album

tried to attach a photograph using the manage attachment dialogue box..

keeps comming back.. invalid file, url, etc...

i can paste the link to the photo as here

you are posting the url to the page. On the right hand of the page, copy the IMG code and paste that here, like this

When I connect iPhone to computer a little programme starts up and let's me store photos in a file. When I want to post there is an option to attach a file just like an email. Works for me.

I think you are copying wrong link, go down to img code and tap on that.

ok now to explain the feet....

instead of sailing.. I am stuck on my bum with a foot in bandages... right now the closest i get to the boat is this forum..
First officer is bringing me food, drink etc when I ask... but whilst the idea of such attention may seem good fun... it lacks appeal..

i hope to be mobile in about a month...
