etc etc
boaters lounge = all comers social chit chat area.
Doesnt mean no humor etc in other areas but severe thread drift and non topic related posts should clear off to the 'bar'.

All topic specific forums should be easier to keep track of with largely relevant posting against (hopefully) clearer subject lines.

I think that Charm Course was a waste of money Boatone.

This has been discussed ad nauseum and I think you were in a minority of .... errr.... 'one' the last time this was suggested.

The Mobo forum is what it is and that's why so many of us like to drop in, otherwise it'll look like PBO.

If you don't like the way its run and you clearly can't convince those of us using it to agree with you then go somewhere else.

In fact you've got a forum of your own, you can set it up on there, and you can moderate yourself, tells us when it sucessful and I am sure we'll all drop into to have a look.

I seem to remember that it took quite a few debates before capital punishment was abolished....not to mention equal rights for women and various other major shifts in public opinion.....
Ive always believed better to try and encourage change from the inside rather than trying to start breakaway groups etc. We are both entitled to our opinions, I just happen to think yours is wrong/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Well Boatone, I hate to be a pedant like you but your post is all about inappropriate mixture of content in the forum........it would be childish of me of course to point ou that the place to discuss the forum is in 'Web site news and feedback' not here, but unlike you I don't believe have such divsions is unhealthy for the continuity of the forum, which is why I haven't set up either my own forum or on line database or picure website. (I think you secretly want Kim's job, you know like the paitents in nut houses that all pretend to be doctors ) actually not a bad analogy of this forum.
