……….for over 15 years but am disappointed by the way monitors dictate what people can and can’t post and cast aspersions about a post without any questions asked and just delete it.
I may never come here again and am cancelling my magazine subscriptions in the morning.
This forum, sadly, ain’t what it used to be.

If your Brokers post was removed then I am at a loss to understand why that would be unless it relates to something posted since I last looked at it.

I understand your frustration and wouldn’t disagree that things have changed here over the years but still worth dropping by I think ?

It sure isn’t and it’s a real shame but it’s down to lack of investment, ease to use etc .
Sadly sites like FB make it far easier to post photos and videos of problems and stories when cruising , that’s my thought on why it’s not so popular.
I will say that this place is what we all make it , I’ve been on here since it’s incarnation, though I did have a different handle at first .
The less people on here makes it a smaller place so keep with us .

Perhaps I over reacted but I was v unhappy with the high handed, authoritarian way my thread was deleted and the PM explanation I received
VP, you are correct. People leaving make the community smaller to the detriment of others still reading the forum.

To be fair I see the magazine as the magazine and the forum as a free to use forum. The two aren’t linked in my mind.

As for investment in the forum it’s a small niche corner of the internet. I suspect Elon Musk is some way from approaching the owners with an offer ?

Ultimately it’s down to the people who post and I will say that many of the posts quickly descend to either a toxic rant or an off topic technical rabbit warren which may or may not be factually correct.

Every now and again there’s a useful bit of boating stuff in there but for the most part I find myself on specialist facebook groups these days.

I would still very much like an answer to this. It was a perfectly sensible and interesting discussion, why was it pulled? Perhaps a moderator might like to give us some guidance?

Well I guess we will never know, despite asking twice for clarification and notifying the moderators of one of those posts.

Doesn't sit well.
