I enjoy my sailing but............
I really missed the fun we used to have with our kids in a 4 meter rib with a 30hp engine.

I have recipe for a bit of fun this summer when the sails are rolled up or there is no wind.

E bay Free 2.9 Achilles lightweight Hyperlon Rubber Dub (came with a 6 hp engine)

Repair leaks (mainly badly sealing valves) and add stiffened lightweight plywood/ally floor.

Inflate Tubes and Vee-Keel to 3PSI

Add 9.8 Tohatsu 2T

Attach safety cut out to leg, start, sit well forward and go. Instant take off.

Proper sea trials with GPS speed logging outside the dock next weekend!

Kwackers....You have cut price competition Mate. You wont see wake for sure!

So the dock gates open ,with you all having beards i thought you were all livaboards
They are almost Livaboards
They don't do much through the Week
Plus they don't do much when they get to PD
Just muck about and make Bonfires mostly
I worry about them but basically, we put up with them and kinda watch over them, in case they hurt themselves
It's like having Kids again;)

Love it!
We can do some 'exercises' with the Clients this weekend, you will get 'paid' too
Half of Mild in the Pink Palace ok?
Right Richard. I have no bookings for tomorrow. I know the good weather will mean you are way over subscribed. I will be around tonight to take on your overspill!

I have flight bookings free at 08.30 09.30 10.30

Weather looks good for a spot of fishing, sea life spotting, Barbecue and possible a celebratory drink off the Lovers Island to start my new business venture .

"SeaNAwake"

Steve.

Initial sea trials indicate approx 18 knots at WOT.

This could not be ratified as a second run in the opposite direction was not completed due to need to change undergear!.

Advice from ex-moboer Philiz is that I am under propped as initial take-off and acceleration is rapid and prop is limiting top speed.

I noticed that Ribride crew looked scared by the new competition and never saw Seawake all weekend.

I reckon a longer prop and you'll get it air borne if you're into the wind ;)
