I'll look out for it. Jonathan Ross once asked actress Samantha Janus if her brothers name was Hugh.

What was the name of the dredger?...

... as my boat was crushed earlier in the season by a dredger/gravel boat and I wonder whether it could be the same ...

So thats why it said in the story that he had been arrested and released on bail?

Still, you'd need to have a fe w shandies inside you before you could miss something the size of a pier!

Re: ... allegedley, surely? nm

I happened to be monitoring Ch16 when a different ship went through a different pier. The local lifeboat reported the collision to the coastguard. After urgent enquiries about the seaworthiness of the ship and being reassured, CG asked whether there was any damage to the pier. "Well, it's in two bits, if that's what you mean!" Then CG asked if they could talk to the ship's captain. The reply came in a very broad local dialect; "T'aint no use talkin' to 'im; 'e's pissed!"

Allegedly, of course.
Edited by peterb on 05/11/2003 21:42 (server time).
