I want to use a co2 detector to detect hydrogen in an enclosed space. Has anyone removed the sounder to place remote from batteries?

How do you propose to adapt a CO2 detector to detect hydrogen, just interested.

A co2 detector will sense hydrogen. The one i have in the cabin is sealed so cannot get at sounder. Just wondered if someone had one that is held together by screws

Are you sure? I know some CO detectors will detect hydrogen, but a CO2 detector???
