I think I may of found a nice Husky 24 motor sailor

Beginner in this area so opinions on the boat pease for North Wales area waters.

Sailboat Data mentions that she is a shorter version of the Fairey Fisherman.

They do seem to be nice wee boats - here is one that was for sale, but no longer.

They seem to have bilge keels, hence should be able to dry out ok in North Wales?

HI I know its a long time ago but, did you buy and if so how did she handle. I have just bought one and have been looking everywhere for any info on her sea keeping abilities.

no i got another different power boat instead.

My father had one in the late 1960s when I was a teenager. He kept it on the Thames and we certainly went as far as Ipswich ...towing a Mirror dinghy ! Not a great sailing boat but safe and sound.

Again, a bit 'long in the tooth'. Used to have a Fisherman and very impressed; rivers, canals and coastal !
Looking for a Husky 24 but with back cabin ?
