If you are an accredited RYA Optimist Class Measurer....

I think the scarf would appeal to my teenage daughter - Would need a competent crew version.

We could also get the RYA to come out with the Psuedo Yacthmaster tie for the maritime version of the "Back Seat Driver" (aka the nagging partner who does not have a license!)

...You get a Measurer Tie. SWMBO was not best impressed, nor the other Optimist Lady Measurer's. Not much Edwardian dress in a wet dinghy park!
I think it got used as a painter for the Avon eventually
