How to Polish Tufnol

Can anyone suggest a good way to revive old and 'dry' tufnol?

I have a Hasler wind vane with tufnol components that needs some TLC.

Ooopppsss!

Just found a similar thread in the Classic Forum.

Looks like linseed oil is the answer!

Any other ideas welcome!

I had some tufnol sheet that needed sprucing, I just scotch brited it. It didn't shine but it did look much better.
