Mine have been out in the garden for 4 weeks and the weather has prevented them from drying out - anyone use a different solution??!

1. Clear all furniture from lounge (or your biggest room)
2. Lay out sails on the floor.
3. Put heating on.
4. Ban partner, kids, cats and dog from room for 24 hours.

Done deal.

Yep, I do a variation on Gordonmc's method. I leave everything in the lounge as it is ('cept for flowerpots and the like) then drape the, well drained, sail over furniture et al!! Swmbo hates it, but it's only for a day or praps a bit longer, as this way the air can get to both sides of the sail at the same time.

We've got quite a big lounge, so there is little 'doubling up' so, with the central heating on, as now, they are completely dry within 24 hours.

The best DIY sail care system I know, having used many, is to wash the sails one at a time in the inflated dinghy secured fore and aft alongside, trampling until thoroughly soaked: then secure the haliard to the head and a sheet to the clew and hoist away, feeding into the track, and sail them dry. All it takes is one fine day!
