Needed a new impeller today. The price was £27 and a few pennies; I thought they cost about £12. Am I really that much out of touch on prices?

Awful, innit. I still can't get over the fact that you don't get change out 5/- when you buy a gallon of petrol! :-)

You trying to tell me that petrol costs more than 3/10d a gallon? HAH! You can't fool me.
My Diesel is only 1/9d a gallon but I get that cheap from a Farmer.

Incidentally, latest news:- Michael Jackson isn't through for Wimbledon and Murray is dead.

the forum goes down for a couple of days and YOU loose all sense of reality : (insert symbols of jocularity and like signs to show a joke is intended)

More to the point ASAP (used) to give good prices for generic impellers, which latter have given me good service as I occasionally forget to turn on my fresh water intake...)
