I see that someone has sensibly removed my pic ! What is an acceptable file size for a pic to be posted ? Last Q honest !

I think you may be using a host that constantly changes the url of your pictures and is only suitable for viewing by linking to an album homepage on the site. This is why your pic has dissappeared. May be wrong but I came up with this issue when trying to post pics on Yahoo.
Suggest you persevere with Boatone's site.

suggest u try your own isp site i had similar probs on boatone site.
the tiscali link works well ( @ least it must be simple cos i can do it ).
having had similar "teach-ins" on the forum only about 2 weeks ago after some 18 months of trying

Well thanks for all the help. I managed to put a pic on boatones site but it appears to be a thumbnail. The site keeps telling me to read the helpfile but doesnt tell me how to get to the help file. I dont think I have an isp as such, I connect using BT broadband or Vodafone connect but have always used Hotmail for email, so never got involved in isps I imagine. Anyway it was fun trying.

surely BT is your isp, if they provide your internet connection.
i quit hotmail some years ago because of all the spam,adds + crap.also not much storage space.
tiscali is very good

Re hotmail, I use outlook express so never actually use hotmail directly. Hotmail now has very large storage.

Yes, all you had to do was right click. Forgot to remove title ! I'm sure you didnt though.

Clue was Salcombe pic . so guessed near, and Yealm fairly distinctive with
Island visible through entrance. no didn't cheat
