Lozzer, is this the same Ray Johnston who also does surveys in Spain because he did one for me last year in Denia and, yes, he's a good bloke
Actually, it was my post about Landau. They seem to know what they're doing but I agree they're probably pricey. They're not going to source equipment without adding a margin and I guess their labour rates are not cheap. But its a case of whether an owner has the skills and time (I probably have'nt) to do some or all the work themselves
But this thread has opened my eyes to the fact that it is possible to reduce the costs. I'm going to be coding a boat over the next month or so and I'll certainly be looking at the possibility of sourcing equipment myself to save cost
