How Deep is your snow.

About 8" near Watford.

Decided to dig a path out. After a few minutes digging decided there must be an easier way. There is. Provided you can catch thje snow while it's still powdery, and before the lower levels start to compact, a leaf blower makes a very good snow plough. Cleared a 25 yard long path 2 ft wide in less than 5 minutes, with virtually no effort on my part.

Edinburgh - 12 inches, accumulated since 17th December, which was the last day that we saw the tarmac which is presumably still there in our street underneath all the white stuff

PS Rear wheel drive, very wide tyres, automatic = no go. Front wheel drive, narrow tyres, manual transmission = may go. Means need to be very nice to owner of latter, ie SWMBO

West Lothian, 12-14" for the last fortnight. It thaws a bit, then freezes before topping it up again.
-10C at the moment, and the icicles have reached the ground.
