Hi
Just joined this forum, as a new boat owner.
I have just purchased a Sessa C30
And going round trying all the systems,
At the moment I have a problem with the hot water system, an hour after turning on the water heater (with shore power on) I tried the hot water tap and no water coming out, (cold water fine)
As I'm new to boating, but into home diy I went into the engine compartment to see if I could see anything that might stop the water flowing.
I found a valve on the hot water tank, and thinking it might be an on/ off valve i turned (it was spring loaded) at which point there was a noise from tank and a pump started.
I kept valve turned until pump stopped which made me think system was pressurising. Tried hot water and hot water gushed out at high pressure.
But when I went back to the tap an hour later, hot water stopped coming out again!
At which point I left for home, I'm trying to get my head round the system.
Can anyone shed some light to what the problem could be?
As said I'm very new to all this, so please be gentle with me.
