What does all this stuff mean? There's random little icons everywhere - folders, lightbulbs, fish (sure I saw one somewhere). Is there something somewhere that explains them? Why do I keep appearing in the website feedback forum? Who thought up black on dark blue?

and I'm helped how? BTW, I did discover that if you change the stylesheet to 'Infopop', the black on blue thing goes away, and it's all much more ligible. Just in vile colours.

Seems that your 'star rating' is the average of the ratings that other users have given you. Click on someone's ID, then select a rating from the dropdown at the bottom of the page. We could all gang up on someone, and reduce them to 'Johnny No Stars'...
