I am new to this site and to sailing. I had a lot of boats in the past but now I bought my first sailing boat. The problem is I do not know the brand. The previous owner told me that it is a Groozer?!? , UK built (papers lost), but I cannot find info on the net for that brand. This is a 25 foot fiber sailing boat with removable aluminuim mast. Picture attached?
It is 25 feet fiberglass hull with wood trimmings, aluminuim mast which can be removed, therefore boat is trailable. Takes an inboard engine - or an outboard . Is there a website were I can enter these details and search for brand?. Thanks again

I am sure this is a Tankard 24 and if you type this into the search facility on these forums you will come up with further threads.

Good luck

Yes, definitely a Tankard 24 built by Brian Tankard in the early 1970s in Cornwall. Think he also built an 18 in similar style.

Expect most will have gone now as the composite structure is not as good as an all GRP boat. They occasionally come up for sale - Boatshed had one recently.
