he's got Poole Harbour - with the forecast winds Sat, and the sunshine, it's going to be 'heaving'........... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
on the other hand with the reasonably big tide it's going to have more than it's share of amusing incidents too

Hi Keith,
I know it is a bit blowy, going to be the same tomorrow, in SE as well. Not good for Dorset coast, I'll probably anchor in South Deep or somewhere, go onto the beach and have a BBQ.

Very tempted - it's close-ish to home and a chance to do something worthwhile to avoid the football (although with your plasma screen(s) that might not work out.
Alas, my aged mother is on the way up to visit for the weekend so may have to do something more cultural.
Enjoy, and if you are going to be based at Chatham then it'd be great to catch up.

Errm. Whist on the subject. My boat came out today (hopefully) it needs a bit of anifoul, a few anodes and other odds and sods. It could also do with a polish. I cant make it down till next week end, when it hopefully goes back in the water.
If a few would like to get away from the football. I'm sure I could find some thing of interest. Please form an orderly queue!!

How are you going to launch at Chatham? I always thought they do not crane boats at the weekend and they dont have a slipway?

I am just going to tip it in over the side it's only a four foot drop, not a problem if you secure everything inside, last time the fridge opened and evrything fell out, using gaffa tape this time.
