I have a Mercedes OM366 (straight 6) diesel with a combined manifold/Heat exchanger/header tank. It does not have any ID on it (I believe it may have been of Dutch origin). One of the rubber end caps has failed and I would like to obtain spares. I have tried Lancing Marine (who sell heat exchangers for this engine) and ASAP-Supplies. Neither of them has the correct size available.

Does anyone out there know where such spares might be available? (or in extermis where I can get them manufactured - I'm still hopeful of obtaining a manufacturer name from one of above named suppliers).
I don't want to buy a new heat exchanger....

Thanks
Phil

Try Westfield 4x4. They specialise in the OM636 which is not the same engine, but they are extremely helpful.

Email: princz@west-4x4.demon.co.uk

P.S. For what its worth, I have an OM636 in my boat and it has a Bowman Heat Exchanger.
