Hi,
we appear to have inherited a 30ft yacht (Hurley 30) from my wife's Dad - leastways it is part of his estate.
The boat is currently out of the water at a marina in southern Spain. She needs work doing to her - at the very least, the usual maintenance and the interior needs a damned good clean. There may be other stuff - he was living on her and she probably hasn't left the marina for a handful of years. In short, she's not sailable at present.
Whilst we could probably do some of that work ourselves, the location, time and cost make it impossible. With the renewal of annual marina fees looming, we're in a bit of a pickle as to what to do.
Would appreciate any thoughts as to what our options are?
TIA
