Has anyone tried to use a eberspasher hydronic heater with heater rad from a car to heat the boat, these heaters are fitted in diesil saabs as a completly standalone unit to heat the coolant or the interior in extremly low temperatures.

A Freind of mine has a Hydronic system with a couple of what can best be described as vehicle heater eliments and fans operated by a switch and a thermostat. they seem to work OK! the boats a 40 foot steel cruiser.

Agree with ROBIND. Surely that's all the expensive boat versions are ... if the physical dimensions are acceptable. I have a couple stored in the shed for just that potential use!
