Hi All
Is there an alternative method to cleaning intercoolers/heat exchangers other than using chemicals??
Reason for asking, one of the owners of a princess has been told he cannot have his intercoolers chemically, cleaned as it is not allowed, and is against H&S regs
so he needs to buy new???? sounds Iffy to me,
what do you all think? and what are the alternatives, if any??

Complete cobblers! Strip them out take them to a radiator shop and they'll boil 'em out in some evil brew, which contains god knows what. Probably for not a lot of money, oh and generally the smaller the rad specialist the better!

bol**cks!
Its done every day.
As matey said , take it to a rad shop, Theres a Serck in Swansea & they will clean it out in their caustic tank.
They may even have an ultrasonic tank there I cant remember, which will bring them up like new
