I don't think so... The make and model eludes me but I'm almost certain I've seen a couple of those in a harbour on the south coast a couple of years ago... so either several where extended or the factory went through a fugly boat fase

Which bit do you think is the extension?
pretty sure its a Carvar
Looks like a Histar or Dyna star to me, there used to be a similar boat in OVM called Cockney Rebel (cue mandolin solo) and if I remember correctly that was a Histar.
Both are Taiwanese built and the aft deck cover is a bolt on job as some traders had to make them look like the sunliner versions. I suppose it might even be a (posher than normal) Hershine but I do not think so as these were more angular.
The anchor platform looks like an optional extended bow roller effort designed to allow the chain to clear the gel coat at the bow.
Just done some searching and reckon it is a Dyna Craft 53 CMY from late eighties.........go on show me I'm wrong!![]()
Yup ... Cockney Rebel ... a Histar lying in Inverness for years...... Twin DD's were the good part..., but was spacious inside.... Dave (Marina Manager) took her to Kip in Glasgow ... scariest journeyhe's done in a boat he said (ex trawler owner, so takes a bit to say that).. When surfing waves, bow did not want to come up and ran with green water on deck a couple of times ... "as if she wanted to continue down" he said....Cockney Rebel I saw in Inverness last year...looked a right carbuncle!!
