I know I've posted these photo's earlier, and I'm being naughty, but has anyone who sails on the Lakes seen this 'Winkle Brig'? Sail number as you can see is HB1.

Shouldn't this be in the Stolen Boat section?

I don't like the look of those two criminals sailing off in her. I hope you get her back, but judging by those faces, I fear the worst /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

For those of you who are interested, that is I, the younger one, sorry Pete had to get that in. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It hasn't been pinched, I sold it. Just wondered if it is being used.

Just a thought. Perhaps I should just let go, /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I've often asked myself the same question about my first boat. I spent a year in a shed refurbishing her at great expence. When she was sold, at that time I had four boats but thats another story, she was taken round to the east coast. Eventualy I decided that I was better off not knowing.
If she wasn't being kept in the manner to which she had become acustomed I would have been too upset.
I loved that boat. Probably still do !

Just to set your mind at ease, I've been keeping an eye on your present one, you know, the one on A33. Despite wind through the night gusting close to 60 knots, she hasn't drifted to far, and at certain states of the tide, with the light in the right direction of course you can just see her vhf aerial just below the water.

Two very dodgy looking pirates making off with her in your photo, one a well known miscreant who hangs out at Antigua Sailing week, or anywhere that has Mount Gay rum.
Find 'em and flog 'em /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

[/ QUOTE ] shouldn't that be ex-pence? Anyway I think your spelling is far more appropriate than the usual! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Thanks John.

Isn't it a great comfort knowing that your fellow boaters keep an eye on your pride and joy when your not able to?

Tina and I are going to be off on holiday soon, so it leaves us with total peace of mind.

It's nice having nice people around!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
