Nice if Cardiff could take on Watchet as they seem enthusiastic, but could local boat owners afford their rates?

Probably not.
You also have to consider ongoing maintenance rates of the marina at any rate before setting fees.

I see the Bev D is at Sharpness. She belongs to Cardiff Marina. Not sure she would be much use t Watchet having seen her at Lydney.
