Had a busy and enjoyable season. Changed boats and sailed the new one back from Cornwall to new base at Wisbech. Lots of trips to Wells in the summer - lovely!
However, now the hard work's come around I find I've got a bit less time on my hands than expected (new job - shouldn't complain in current state of the country). So I would be very pleased for any recommendations for good contractors/tradesmen who would work in Wisbech. Apart from the usual maintenance, got two steel rudders (it's a cat, you see!) that need attention plus fridge & heating to fix, plus probably new upholstery.
It would be good to build up some contacts in this area, which as I say is new to me. Yes, I will ask at the club and Paul who operates the boat lift is going to ask around too, but I thought worth asking the massed wisdom of this forum for who to choose...and perhaps avoid (by PM if necc)
Thanks, Andy
