"Hammerite" for outboard prop?

My 8hp outboard sits in a well and is always in the water. The original paint on the propeller has flaked and there is a fair amount of corrosion. I was going to antifoul it but thought I should give it a harder coating first.
Has anyone tried using Hammerite - seems to be ok for aluminium (possibly with a primer first)

Seems to be at least as good or better than all the other suggestions.
However needs to be primed for sure. Let me know if it works ;-)

I used Hammerite on the prop and the outboard leg itself, rubbed all the original stuff off and primed with the ally primer (international l think it was) its lasted for 4 years but will need re doing this year.
