Congratulations from me! I also have a 2008 p36 with d4 300. You've been lucky to find such a late model with the updated flybridge and trim tabs. I work out to get more like 1.25 mpg once loaded. Hope you have great times with her. Please feel free to PM with any questions. Mark

Looks great, many congrats.
However, it has been a couple of days now, and I havent seen any threads about those vital "safety" extras you have already bought...you know, like new jacket, deck shoes,sunglasses,fenders,warps....Very risky to even think about setting off anywhere ;)

Know what you mean about seeing people shuffling off this mortals coil focussing the mind a bit. Seem to have been around too much of it the last month or so and seeing a colleague on the night he passed was a very sobering experience. Lovely bloke but then isn't that always the case.

Sorry, didn't mean to put a downer on things Looks a very nice boat so congratulations and good luck with her. I think you have definitely done the right thing.

We are also looking to buy a Prestige 36

Does anyone know if the Prestige 36 was sold in the UK with the smaller Bathing platform and D6's ?

Thanks for your kind words chums.

I've now got a big list of important things to sort out - not least of which is getting me hands on a Forum Burgee.

Buying the boat is the easy bit. The Forum Burgee is another matter. They are only issued once in a millenia.
However if you are lucky HLB may have some left. Worth a PM to him:)

Blimey - this thread's been resurected. I believe the pre 2006 models had a shorter platform, but am not sure about the engines. Track down VolvoPaul of this parish - he'll be able to tell you.

Have you still got it? It's been so long, afterall:D:rolleyes:

Remember, considerate overtaking at all times;)

P36 with short platform and D6

Thanks.

Since posting I have found one for sale in France 2004 model). So they do exsist!

Now trying to decide if I have the time to buy it there and bring it back.

Anyone know of good transport co. for a run from Bordeaux. I guess I could fill it with wine to make the journey worthwhile : ).

Or if anyone knows of similar for Sale in UK please let me know.

Regards

Steve
