Congratulation graham, that is a very nice boat.

I bet you are really looking forward to you own great escape.

By the way, don't worry about changing the name, I've done it several times without any mumbo jumbo and been fine

Not supersititious here either, but some Veuve Clicquot did spill over the bow, just to be sure.
Running a boat called "Bumble" was not an option.

Well done. I bet you're chuffed to bits. The OMG feeling is only natural. I'm in the process of upgrading our Princess P42 and I have exactly the same butterflies as I start to prepare photos and advert!

Once you're aboard and enjoying your first trip out you'll be happy.

Good luck.

Henry :)

Congratulations and enjoy. :)

Just out of interest; what does 600HP cost at 20 knots? per hour...

Well Stu, I'm reckoning on getting about 1.5 to 2.0 mpg. It's a bit criminal really but when you start to see folk your age falling off their coil it makes one take certain decisions about one's life and getting the most out of it before you receive your appointment with your maker.

Firefly and others - I can't get photo bucket to work on my iPad so I'll try something when I crawl back to the office sometime next week. I can access my albums but there's no upload button on screen when using an/my iPad. Am I doing something wrong?

Friday 13th - forget it Sneds, just don't go there!

er, I would reckon on 1.5mpg as a best case.

Its a lovely boat, and D4s are great but heavy 37fter on shafts is not going to get 2mpg on the plane (it will of course if your trolling, but whats the point with a lovely fast boat like that)
