Re: jimi\'s v steve\'s extras

Wine. Plenty of White wine. Not sure that's an extra. It sort of came inextricably linked with the boat.

Re: previously on scuttlebutt: the Legend of Steve101

<Has anyone beaten that 200 posty thread yet? >

Yes, but there are a lot more members now. One famous thread was a sting featuring Mirabella V and TCM apparently putting a boat aground in Norway. The name of the boat, you'll be honoured to know, was the St Eveio 1. The thread was pulled.

Thinking about it, is it time to reinstate the sting thread?

I feel highly honoured. I was here for such a comparitively short perod of time but tonight has shown that my swift departure and the manner with which it occured wasn't the highlight of that voyage.

I'll try to stay as long as I'm welcome and bring with me my own p*** poor prospective of sailing.

Don't know, but on here there are a lot of well known users that are known to use alternative user ID's and you could be one of them abusing a new ID and pretending to be Steve101.

I could be, couldn't I. You will never know I guess as anything that I could answer would have been witnessed by many others......Unless of course it was sent by PM.......Perhaps you'd like to verify my aunthenticity.

authenticity

i think we can safely say it's St Eveio 1 cos

he started with "gues who i am"
he confessed to the blue
he is quick to help his thread build and build
....and most of all:
he's got an ice box on a sailing boat, so it's obviously him. Steve101 is the only known lounge lizard who has strangely not bort a motoryboat. Well, he sort of has really seeing as not many axshul powerboats have iceboxes but anyway, i think it's pretty clear that's it's definitely him,. especially given my fabulous record in identifying imposters (so far not many out of several hundred, but jimi sent me a pm and sed oi it's s101)

da 101 code

Yes the user id started with an S and ended with an I so the natural conclusion was drawn .. haowever there were only 2 candidates S101 or H1, however H1 was mobo toast so he would'nt have come on SB.. other guess was wee Isa fae Killie but i quickly ruled that oot!

lack of .. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif..rather rules out H1.

funny thing - when you look at tcm's sucinct summary you have to wonder how things managed to get to the stage they did.
ultimately it must have been the ID antics I suppose.

Oh No!

I'm off ter bed Steve.

BTW, only realised that room 101 was Orwell recently, despite reading his book in my teens. Still awaitin the S101 explanation which Angela touched on briefly.
