great day part one,
Well as I am on a day off you can guess where i have been /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Down to dads boat, cleaned out the bilges as we have a water leak from the cylinder head [long story] and took her out for a run, after topping up the water. Nice and sunny pottering down the Hamble or as I say "an Amble down the Hamble"
OK it not good but amuses me!
and went out into Southampton water , headed to wards Cowes and wow it a bit choppy and windy that way, so after a quick play we turned back up Southampton water, Now Brigadoon is a Sealine S34, and we have had 37 knots out of her before, so I opened her up, {this will kill or curse this water leak,}
we shot off down Southampton water, wind behind us, punching tide, and by gum
she hit 40.3 knots though the water, I then throttled back, as we nearly took off when we hit a wave, I can say the cobwebs have been well and truly blown away, pottered back to her berth, and checked the engines, and wow the leak has sealed, I don't know for how long , if she does the summer before we need to sort it properly /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif.
Col ,thank you /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I do not know what you do to her but she likes it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
