gps/repeater/radio connections

can I just connect the (just acquired) gps repeater to the GPS (which is already connected to the DSC radio or do I need some kind of hub?

No hub needed. Just connect it straight in. My own GPS, Garmin GPS128, specifies up to three destinations but may take more.

Shouldn't be a problem. If you try to connect 4 or more "receiving" devices to a single NMEA output you may get loading problems on the port.

I wouldn't go the other way, i.e. dont try to connect multiple outputs to a single input, as you may get interference between the signals - I found this on my laptop which thought the VHF radio was an extra mouse!
