Mrs Morris says it was better than Biscay..Well done , Serendipity. Did you all, especially Mrs M, enjoy a good blue water crossing ?
PS> What are the camera like things attached to the PLB's pls ?

It got me confused. Our LJ’s have PLB’s fitted but they’re inside and not visible.just the design (buckle?) on the Spinlock LJs
Congratulations on the crossing, if you don’t mind me asking, how old is the Coppercoat and how long has Serendipity been in the water? Our cc is 14 years old and I’m just trying to gauge if it’s worth a top up coat or not.The last pic should have been entitled ‘trade wind rolling’. We had excellent winds (and a tame professional metoc helping route us) but the intense lows coming out of the USA generated some strange mixed swells. Two or three swells combining to make a very confused sea at times. When I’ve sailed the trades before it’s been a long consistent swell. We didn’t enjoy many days like that. However we screamed along without pushing it at all. Half the time we had part of the roller genoa rolled away. 20 knots plus up your backside helps though.
PS. Just went for a swim around the boat (water 25 degrees). The coppercoat has done really well. No weed and barely any slime even round the waterline. A few baby mollusc things but barely any.
The coppercoat has been on 8 years.Congratulations on the crossing, if you don’t mind me asking, how old is the Coppercoat and how long has Serendipity been in the water? Our cc is 14 years old and I’m just trying to gauge if it’s worth a top up coat or not.
