On a similar line I ordered a main halyard from Compass. They say 5 to 7 days in the catalogue/web site.It arrived 2 days later.

I've always been impressed with Howells. I've never bought anything from them but visit at every boat show.
Even after days of answering idiot's questions they are always friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable.
And the same when you phone for advice.

Besides its only prebuilt items being installed..... the KJ Howells website covers them adequately!

(worth a plug for them, with their URL if they can deliver in 24hrs from order being placed!)

I often scrounge small hardwood off cuts from the YC skip. Ive found the customer service dept very poor but prices excellent. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
