Gludy - My BVI experience with a Powercat

Yes - the scenes involving the big fish have other things in them that I was going to edit out but i amy not have the time so will ask you to close your eyes for those bits and being honorable baoters I am sure you will. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for your experiences on getting there. Does sound like a lot of hassle but I guess it keeps the riff-raff away!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

virgin gorda baths and cane garden beach on tortola worth the hassle alone imho. we visited on a cruse and bvi looked like fantastic cruising grounds. loads of cats about when we were there.

We were banned from entering Cane Garden by Virgin Traders on the penalty of they found we had been there they would cease the boat back!

We did not know this until we arrived so we had no way of seeing it.

They had a boat come adrift on a mooring there - a total write-off and they had one of the peole there throw a rock and smash a boat window.

That's odd. Cane Garden Bay is one of the most popular and well known anchorages in the BVI and I think some of Virgin Traders own publicity photos were shot there. Methinks their reticence might have something to do with the many bars there in which, ahem, recreational substances are available

No they gave pictures of the written off boat and the smashed window and explained that their boats were not insured there ...... honest - mind you its still on their web site as a must go place!!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
