I have Sailing Today January 2005 issue in the post recently.

It has the answers to the December issue crossword , and closing date for Dec crossword is 02 December!

It always amazes me how far ahead these magazines get in publication, bit like the daily change in tide times. Should occasionally insert a leap month..

I was just thinking about this recently. I started buying PBO in 1967, and each month's issue came out in the last week of the preceding month. Now, they seem to come out almost a month in advance. Today, 1 December, I received the January edition of PBO. It's the same with Sailing Today.

If they keep regressing at this rate, we'll all disappear up our own subscription.
I blame Einstein - relatively speaking, of course...
