We had a Gilbert Marine built three cabin 96, a 33 footer.

A well built boat which sailed well.

We chartered a Gibsea 33 after the maker changed.

The sailing ability and build quality was less good.

They are a smaller version of the Gib'Sea 96. I have a 96 and she sails very easily. I went onboard a 28 in France to compare notes a few years ago and fitting out wise it was the same, just smaller.

I have friends who sail Sadler boats of the same size and they struggle to keep up with me.

We had a GibSea 84 about 20 years ago Which I think is similar. sailed very well but lightly built. Good layout on paper but was always a bit tight Size wise. Be good for a slightly below size couple but if you’re both large then check for fit!
AIUI the 282 was a development of the same boat
