What sort of prices are you paying for refilling 907 Gaz bottles. I've managed to get mine for £28, last year they were around 20 quid! seems a huge increase???

If you are in one place for a while, think of converting to small BUtane or Propane bottles- 3-4Kg size. The size used by roofers when heating up roofing felt etc. If your gas locker has the space - it can save a substantial amount of money. You might need a new regulator, but you will probably still be better off!
I have spoken with our local supplier, a small camping shop, there are large discounts for them on a large order, he doesnt buy enough "apparentlyJust bought a 907 refill yesterday for £23 at Burton waters marina.
I know some places charge £30, including a caravan shop near us.
The charge has nothing much to do with the value of the gas inside the cylinder.
Extremely safe, easy and quick. No more difficult than changing a cylinder. With a 13kg cylinder of butane costing £21 at Mistress Trago's venerable emporium, it costs a couple of pounds for each fill. There is a thread on this forum detailing how to fill your own using a few bits of equipment bought from BES plumbing supplies. I did just that, whole lot was about £40 and now I can refill a 907 from a big calor bottle. Works out at £6 a fill. That kit paid for itself on the second fill, money well spent.
