Can anyone recommend a gas engineer (gas safe?) who can check over the gas system on my boat?

The boat is in Clyde Marina, Ardrossan, so someone based in the Clyde area would be good.

I don't know if they're gas safe engineers, but http://www.cabervans.net/index.html were helpful when I needed a few bits and pieces to fit a replacement cooker. They were recommended to me by the marina folk; I don't think there are a lot of options in that area.

I don't know how far he travels (he's based in Oban) but Tom Hogg is "licensed marine gas engineer". He might have other calls that way ... thogg@live.co.uk

Any gas safe engineer in the local area will come down look on the inter web for gas registered people around Saltcoats and Ardrossan area , to minimise your travel costs

I believe that he was the guy I used to replace some gas pipes and do a safety check. Did a good job.
