Looking for a gas engineer to repair a cda lpg hob I think jet is blocked and burner needs replacing Southend on sea area of Essex

Gas hobs are very simple. Just a jet, burner ring and flame failure device. Spares are available and usually easy to fit but a good clean may well fix it. If it doesn't light at all it could be the jet. If it lights but won't stay lit it is probably the flame failure device. There should be a flame that heats the flame failure device but this could be obstructed by dirt in the burner ring.
CDA spares
If the hob is on a boat you will find that not all gas engineers are qualified to work on boats. You could start looking on the Gas Safe register Register

Ty yes it is on a boat a liveaboard ty

As mentioned, they are simple and as long as you feel confident then try DIY - I've just sorted a small boat cooker by just cleaning and making sure all jets are clear. I did fit a new spark module for the electric sparker as it was very intermittent.
