Garmin GPS72 EGNOS

I've enabled WAAS (EGNOS) & the messages I get back once the system is locked are "3D GPS Location" or "2D GPS Location"

I know EGNOS is not up and running reliably yet but does anyone know if the GPS72 will give a different message when it does lock on to EGNOS, or should I just expect the calculated accuracy to improve?

I think you should see a 'D' in the vertical bars per satellite in the first screen.

Yes, you\'ll get a different message...

If it's picking up a WAAS/EGNOS signal, it'll say "3D Differential Location" or "2D Differential Location" instead of the "GPS Location" messages. And there'll be a "D" in the signal strength bars of the satellites which are being corrected.

If it's only using 3 satellites, it says "2D..."; if it's using 4 or more satellites to get the fix, it says "3D..."
