garmin gps nmea to mtech 500 vhf connection help please

hi can any help me connect a Garmin 182c to a mtech mt 500 ive attached a diagram all help greatly appreciated regards simon

Green of your Garmin to the NMEA in + of the VHF
Black of your garmin to the nmea in - of the vhf

Cannot find an mtech manual on the net so cannot advise thee colours there, but you should be able to match up with the above.
