Fuel tank leak

When commenting on this thread people should remember that Bouba had just spent an inordinate amount of money on another folly and understandably was reluctant to commit funds into ripping his other pride and joy apart without first eliminating all other reasons no matter how unlikely. He is also hamstrung with having to go through his wife as a translator and accountant. ?
 
you have a lot of patience.....

I dread to think how you would remove the fuel tank on my axopar, it appears that its underneath a very large one piece cockpit moulding that appears to be bonded into the hull, it certainly doesnt look very easy to get it out if that were ever needed.

He went boating twice last week…the first was a boat ride down the Tarn gorge…the water was very shallow and every time the boat hit the bottom he was terrified…then we took a tour boat around the Calanques starting at Cassis…beautiful day and perfect sea…but every time the tour guide came over the tannoy the dog again got terrified

I mentioned this problem in an earlier post.
If it was a Bayliner the builders suggested remedy was to take out all the pop rivets joining the hull to the superstructure and lift the superstructure clear. This was on a 25 flybridge.

Benny mild steel screws are harder to remove to be fair

God help us when it is wet and cold and my old mate John aka Bouba , is back on the water we will be having some jip then.

They say talc powder up dry area around suspect leaks………then return next day(s) .

Banana boats bend on the hard if incorrectly supported .That Beny tank is too tight a fit no air gaps no frame to sit on independent of the hull .Therefore hull flexing is directly passed through the tank . At the time I wrote that the tank was still ip situ .
Which reminds me ( and rest following ) @ Bouba have we a diagnosis, figured the aetiology? Can you share any snippets from the reams of faceless reports the piles of emails flying about .A pic of the hole(s) .
Anything .
