No...they are all mean bar-stewards ?....once you start yelling and threatening in France they just walk away...unlike this lot on the the forum who just come back for more...I hope it’s all resolved soon Bouba, I don’t have your patience and would have almost certainly got the approach wrong if France is as different as you say. I can’t believe the constant criticism you’re getting on here, hopefully they’re all actual mates and I’ve misread the posts.

It’s gone that way in the UK too. I’m trying to get rigging work done. In my building business it’s the same. Nothing gets done. Covid changed the world. Endless free money, endless leisure and too much of a boom in the economy from furlough money printing. The world is on a go-slow. We need a recession badly and it’s coming soon. One thing I have learned in France is to have infinite patience....I’ve lived in tropical islands in the middle of the Pacific...I’ve lived at the end of a river in Africa... and I thought that I learned to wait and wait and wait...but infact I was just practicing for life in France...
There is no report per se, the surveyor that we saw was the legal guy in the team who is negotiating with Benny...we will make an appointment to see him next...ho hum...
Indeed. The time to get work done on boats is the winter when the yards have nothing to do.To be fair I think you made several rods for your own back.

Not faff about for four months and leave it until pre-season when the yards will be flat out.
I am still patiently waiting for the parcel you so kindly sent me last year to arrive! One thing I have learned in France is to have infinite patience....I’ve lived in tropical islands in the middle of the Pacific...I’ve lived at the end of a river in Africa... and I thought that I learned to wait and wait and wait...but infact I was just practicing for life in France...

Nobody likes spending money on getting things fixed but when your boat costs you tens of thousand of pounds a year (as Bouba's will) you need to make sure that you're maximising its use. Otherwise you're just chucking money down the drain.4 months look at the date of the first post and the problem had existed well before then, it's coming up to a year.
Yes...my wife is upset for precisely that reasonNobody likes spending money on getting things fixed but when your boat costs you tens of thousand of pounds a year (as Bouba's will) you need to make sure that you're maximising its use. Otherwise you're just chucking money down the drain.
The date tells half the story...I thought there was a leak from the start...but many on here told me to look elsewhere...I got in a mechanic who said exactly the same thing....experimenting took time because every test was contradictory...finally Benny really put the brakes on, they hamstrung the boatyard (who are a Benny dealer, therefore obligated to follow factory guidance)...and still waiting for Benny....each bite of the apple takes a lot of time4 months look at the date of the first post and the problem had existed well before then, it's coming up to a year.
