MDL diesel was £1.75 per litre - and that’s for 60/4010p per litre discount at MDL during April.
For the first time in a while even the visitor rates at premier seem to be less than white diesel from petrol stations

Tho if you are a berth holder and therefore on Otium, you get 16pct in points. You may or not like the Otium concept, but you could reason it is 147p.MDL diesel was £1.75 per litre - and that’s for 60/40
Two weeks ago, I filled up at MDL £1.59 and now £1.64, with the 10p saving and otium points it is for once surprisingly cheaper than other places I have used in the Solent, even without the 10p off or points.10p per litre discount at MDL during April.

I am and missed their “deal” by one day as filled up’s 31/05. For info, how do you convert Otium points to £££’s. It seems arbitrary.Tho if you are a berth holder and therefore on Otium, you get 16pct in points. You may or not like the Otium concept, but you could reason it is 147p.
If you go to Mdl site, or sign into MyMdl, it explains the different points earned on different services.I am and missed their “deal” by one day as filled up’s 31/05. For info, how do you convert Otium points to £££’s. It seems arbitrary.
You could ways head back to st. Petersburg for a refillIn the last five years I have only filled up in Guernsey, Gibraltar and cheapest of all St Petersburg. It won't affect me in the short term but next time the cost to me will be substantially higher.
It’s red diesel. Not road legal.Maybe I should find a marina to get fuel for the car - the nearest Tesco and Asda don’t have any fuel at all. (Mind you the Shell and Esso stations do so I wonder if the supermarkets are balking at the wholesale prices at the moment)
I had the same problem the other day where Tesco and Sainsbury's were closing off pumps. I went and asked the Sainsbury's guy about the shortages, he said they get the standard one tanker delivered a day and due to demand increased to two tankers a day and still having trouble keeping up with demand. So perhaps not a shortage just people filling up more often.Maybe I should find a marina to get fuel for the car - the nearest Tesco and Asda don’t have any fuel at all. In france thay have been bemoaning retirees who at the first sign of trouble zoom out and fill their cars up. That excess demand tails off.I had the same problem the other day where Tesco and Sainsbury's were closing off pumps. I think you’ll like the 5. I have always been a bit nervous of Renaults as, when I was selling VWs, we got a lot of Clios and Meganes traded in and they were a nightmare. I’ve test driven two 5s, a normal one and an Alpine version and they were a lot of fun and well built. The lady down the other end of our road has just got a white Alpine GTS, she must be 75 and drives it like a rally driver.with our phev which we mainly use round town we have only had to fill the tank up in november and have used the car on electric. Will be chopping my car for a renault 5 ev and looking at the grants for solar panels and batteries for our house in france.
