Just like fags and booze, can you guys in the UK not buy a road tanker of fuel in Spain ( A>N other EU country ) and bring it back to the UK for personal consumption???
quick sums say 70,000 Ltr tank at Spanish price + transport gets it back to the uk for 60p/Ltr
If a bunch of you get together and put a bowser in place you could tell HM gov, to go take a flying thingy.
Just a thought???

Thats effectively what that yacht off Hartlepool is trying to do with booze and fags only C & E are saying you actually have to visit another country in person before you can purchase goods from there. Still to be tested in Court though

60p/ ltr is over egged, add £200 for a return flight to do the purchase of the fuel and it still works. ( c+e dont say you have to bring it back yourself only "buy it for your own consumption" )
Eddie Stobarts been doing it for the last two years!!

Amazing

A fuel thread has been running for over 6 hours and still no sign of Gludy.

I am going to organise a search party, am starting to get a bit worried about him, I hope he is ok.

Sorry Woofy, I am running out of fuel today and evryone is being sensible.

No one is claiming that boat prices will not drop, no one is claiming that we are being subsidised ..... so there is no need to put on my thought police outfit and have a go.

I have nothing to add to thsi thread would you beleive ....... :)

But I am still here so don't worry....:)

We don't use the roads.
The sea was there the government does nothing to maintain it.
If we were taxed the same the government would collect less tax than it does now so you would have to pay out more!
I will tell you what - I will swop tax bills with you. You pay mine and I will pay yours! Or maybe you should tell me why you don't pay the same as me?

Then before you answer any of my questions try completing your profile and at least let us know who you are.
